Last Thursday in class we talked  about the first half of "How we decide". I enjoyed the  discussion with the visual games we played and how in my mind I set limits. I didn't think outside the box. After that day in class I started to apply it to all things I did afterwards. It has given me more confidence, and now I approach all my classes in the same way. Just approach things with multiple perspectives before you decide on just one solution or you have believed it  imposable. There is always an answer we just have to weed it out.

  1. I agree. It is important to view something from multiple angles instead of coming up with an assumption. Assuming something usually does not end well for the assumer. At least that is what I have learned from my experience.

    1. I now find myself viewing things from multiple angles even if it is one of my kids asking me a simple question such as "Can I Play" or "Are we going to town today". Critical Thinking is the BOMB!

  2. This really made me smile, because I've played those sorts of games since I could write my name, and I still had difficulty with it. I usually try to approach life from all sorts of angles, and there are all sorts of games you can pull out if you want to do this just for fun. You can just google "Lateral Thinking Puzzles" and get all sorts of fun ones that will force you to approach them from a different mind space. My favorite to start people with is "The man is afraid to go home because the man in the mask is there."
